Athlete consultations are provided to help individual athletes understand and overcome those obstacles preventing them from achieving peak performance. Individual consultations include learning to perform under pressure, establishing proper focus, developing mental toughness and confidence, and enhancing communication and leadership effectiveness. Individual consultations can take place via person-to-person, phone, or e-mail consulting conversations. Schedules and fees are developed in accordance with the unique needs of the individual.
Team consultations are designed to create positive group dynamics. In each case, skills are taught and information is provided to overcome issues that may be interfering with optimal team performances. Team consultations are tailored to the specific needs of each team but generally center on improving team cohesion and trust, communication, leadership, and motivation (see sample workshops by clicking the "workshops" button on the left). Team consultations can include entire teams (coaches involved), teams without the coaches (coaches absent), team captains, junior and senior leadership groups, or freshmen (first year) and sophomore leadership groups.
Coaching staff consultations can include a single coach, an entire coaching staff, or multiple coaching staffs from different teams. Staff consultations are designed for the unique needs of each staff but typically focus on how to motivate athletes, improve communication, build high performing teams, and/or develop effective coach leadership. Single coach consultations can take place via person-to-person, phone, or e-mail consulting conversations. All other staff consultations take place in person and at an agreed upon scheduled time and place.
